Bunch Appointed WRMC Chief Nursing Officer

Gary Bebow, White River Health System (WRHS) Administrator /CEO has announced the appointment of Terri Bunch, MSN, BS, RN to the position of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at White River Medical Center. Her responsibilities include communication and relationship building, staff mentoring and coaching, policy development, process reengineering, budget management, and strategic planning and execution for the hospital’s 14 nursing departments.

Terri received her Associates Degree Nursing from El Centro College, Texas.  She completed her Bachelor of Nursing at University of Dundee in Scotland.  She went on to receive her Master of Nursing from the American Sentinel University in Colorado.  

Bunch has several years of experience in healthcare as well as previous experience as a CNO. She has been in senior level positions with for- profit and not-for-profit organizations in rural and urban communities. Bunch finds that from experience in both, her passion lies within rural healthcare.

“We are eager to welcome Terri as the CNO of White River Medical Center (WRMC),” said Bebow. “Her experience and her commitment to patient care will lead her to excellence in this position.”

Bunch serves on numerous boards and committees such as the Texas A&M College of Nursing, Paris Junior College of Nursing, and the Institute of Medicine (IOM) Future of Nursing recommendations in Texas.

“I am both honored and humbled to be selected to serve this organization and community,” said Bunch. “I look forward to contributing to the culture and clinical excellence at WRMC.”

WRHS is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving residents throughout North Central Arkansas.  The system includes hospitals, outpatient facilities, primary care and specialty physician office practices, and senior citizen centers.  White River Health System is a member of the Premier Alliance, the American Hospital Association, and the Arkansas Hospital Association and licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health.
