ENT Provider Coming to Mountain View

ENT Provider Coming to Mountain View (Mountain View, Ark.) – Dr. Douglas Gottschalk, Otolaryngology/ENT, recently announced he will be seeing patients in the Mountain View. Dr. Gottschalk’s main office is at the WRMC ENT Clinic in Batesville. He will travel to the Stone County Family Medicine Clinic to provide care for patients in the area every other Friday.

 

Dr. Gottschalk specializes in the medical/surgical treatment of head and neck pathology including issues with the ears, nose/sinuses, throat and neck. He sees patients of all ages.

 

Dr. Gottschalk received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr Gottschalk served in the Air Force as a Flight Surgeon at Whiteman AFB in Missouri prior to ENT training. He completed a General Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

 

Dr. Gottschalk and his wife of 29 years love the outdoors and time spent together. They have two daughters. Their oldest is a graduate of Brigham Young University, Idaho and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Harding University. Their youngest is an online teacher. She teaches English to Chinese students in the Chinese public school system. Dr. Gottschalk and his family moved to Batesville to be closer to their extended family.
