(Batesville, Ark.)—Joshua McIntosh, APRN, is accepting patients at the MPOC Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic, a clinic of White River Health System (WRHS) located at 501 Virginia Drive in Batesville. Joshua is working alongside Orthopaedic Surgeon Dylan Carpenter, M.D..
As an APRN, Joshua provides general orthopaedic care, injury evaluation, sports medicine evaluation, osteoporosis management, and orthopaedic pre-operative assessment and post-operative care. He is focused on providing quality care to residents in Batesville and surrounding areas, as well as maintaining direct communication with his patients and the healthcare community.
Joshua received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB). He completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Joshua is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming a provider, Joshua worked in the Emergency Department (ED) at White River Medical Center (WRMC) for 10 years as a Registered Nurse. During his time in the ED, he gained the knowledge necessarily to provide excellent care to his patients and the community.
As a provider, Joshua will work with Dr. Carpenter to care for patients as they would care for their family.

Joshua and his wife Stephany have three children, Conner, age 4; Brooks, age 2; and Willow, newborn. They are residents of the Batesville area.
