(Tuckerman, Ark.)— Vanessa Falwell, APRN, is accepting patients at the Tuckerman Medical Clinic, located at 102 Elm Street.
As an APRN, Falwell will provide primary care, including wellness exams, to patients of all ages. She is focused on providing quality care to residents of Tuckerman and surrounding areas, as well as maintaining direct communication with her patients and the healthcare community.
Falwell earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, AR. She is a board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
“I am proud to become a part of White River Health System, a respected organization and asset to the region,” said Vanessa. “Rural healthcare is close to my heart, as I grew up in small towns and have an understanding of the health needs of citizens in rural areas.”
Falwell has more than 10 years of healthcare experience. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and a Registered Nurse (RN) in a variety of settings including acute care, home-health care, education, and long-term care.
“Vanessa’s passion will ensure the availability of primary care to Tuckerman area residents,” said Gary Bebow, CEO of White River Health System. “We are eager to have her at the Tuckerman Medical Clinic.”
Falwell serves on several committees and boards. In February, Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed Falwell to the State Board of Health. She also joined the Board of Directors for Arkansas Center for Independence. She is a district representative for Jackson County Republican committee.
