What is WAVELINK?
WAVELINK is an online platform that can be utilized for video/virtual visits with a healthcare provider on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. It is user-friendly, private, and secure. There is no enrollment fee, and the cost per visit is $65.
How do I sign up?
Virtual Visits Via WAVELINK are good for diagnosing and/or evaluation of the following symptoms:
- Pink Eye
- Quick Assessments (severity of wounds, for example)
- Seasonal Flu
- Sinus Problems
Can I refill a prescription through WAVELINK?
If the prescription can be verified by the WAVELINK provider then Yes it can be refilled. This does not include narcotics, including pain medicine of any kind, no initial prescription of antidepressants, and or erectile disfunction medications.
Do you have to be a resident of Arkansas to use WAVELINK?
Yes, it is required that you are a resident of Arkansas to utilize WAVELINK; however, you do not have to be in Arkansas at the time of your WAVELINK visit.
For example: You are an Arkansas resident. You are on vacation with family in another state, and you are not feeling well. You can still login to WAVELINK and be seen.
Is insurance accepted through WAVELINK?
We are not accepting insurance at this time through WAVELINK. We may at a later date. All payments are due at time of service and will be charged to the card you provided.
Will my WAVLINK Provider have access to my medical records during our visit?
Yes, if your Primary Care Provider is within the WRHS network.
If the provider cannot confidently assess my symptoms and requests that I be seen in person or go to the ER will I still have to pay the visit fee?
No, if your WAVELINK provider directs you to the Emergency Room, you will not be charged for the WAVELINK visit.
Who can be seen via WAVELINK?
WAVELINK providers can see patients of all ages.
Does the price change based on time or day of WAVELINK visit?
No, WAVELINK visits are $65 regardless of day and time of visit.
Can medical forms be filled out for work or school via WAVELINK?
Yes, sick notes can be given(patient will need to be set up on portal to receive). Be sure to request the documentation before ending the conversation with your provider on WAVELINK. WAVELINK providers cannot provide FMLA forms, disability forms or handicapped/DMV documents via WAVELINK.
Can I choose which provider I see through WAVELINK?
At this time, visit requests are given to all WAVELINK providers. The first available provider will take your visit request. We may at a later date offer this feature.
Can I schedule an appointment via WAVELINK for a later date/time or is it only for immediate visits?
At this time, WAVELINK only offers immediate appointment times. We may offer this feature at a later date.
