Philip Pack, III, DO (Batesville, Ark.) – Gary L. Bebow, Administrator/CEO of White River Medical Center (WRMC), is pleased to welcome Dr. Philip Pack, General Surgeon, to the Medical Staff. Dr. Pack is seeing patients at the WRMC Surgery Clinic, located at 501 Virginia Drive in Batesville. General Surgeons are physicians who operate to repair injuries, correct deformities, prevent diseases, and generally improve the health of patients. They examine patients to determine if surgery is necessary and select the appropriate surgical procedure. Dr. Pack’s expertise and interests include breast cancer screening and breast operations including the latest techniques in breast conservation for breast cancer patients, hernia operations, thyroid surgery, gallbladder surgery, colorectal surgery, and screening for colorectal cancer. Dr. Pack enjoys practicing the full scope of general surgery. Dr. Pack received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia. He completed an internship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine/St. Luke’s University Hospital in Pennsylvania, and residency at NOVA Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine/ Larkin Community Hospital, where he resided as Chief Resident. “Our growing Medical Staff is filled with skilled physicians dedicated to providing the quality care our patients deserve,” said Bebow. “I’m proud to say Dr. Pack fits nicely into this group and we are happy that he chose to be a part of our organization.” Dr. Pack currently resides in Batesville with his two large dogs. Growing up in a small town, he is very excited to join the Batesville community. “After living in Miami, Florida for my training, I searched the country looking for the perfect small town to begin practicing in. Having a colleague I trained with practicing in town, I came for a visit and fell in love with Batesville”, Dr. Pack said. To reach Dr. Pack, call (870) 793-4445.
